The subject on Infection Prevention & Control emphasis on the issues related to infection prevention and control practices within the clinical settings and helps clinical staff to understand various advanced scientific practices on infection control. The programme mainly aims at developing a certified infection prevention & control practitioners, who specialize in implementing policies and procedures for preventing the spread of infectious agents, and to perform duties to contain outbreaks and epidemics in health care settings.

We are affiliated with government agency State Resource Centre (SRC-Kerala) for conducting certificate skill development program in Hospital Infection Control management for the employed and non-employed healthcare professionals. We have organized two batches on hospital infection control certificate (3months) program in various districts. Around 100 candidates attended the programme and certified as Infection Control professionals. Majority of the certified professionals working in various private and government institutions have claimed that they have benefited through this certification in building their career opportunities.
